Jerome D. Smalley

Having spent his entire career in the development and construction business, Jerry always believed that there could be a better and more efficient way to build. As CEO, he is committed to ensuring that the company executes on its revolutionary strategies and that the finished product is always delivered to the market using the most appropriate and effective methods. His role at Blueprint Robotics represents a natural extension of his previous experience.

Joseph Pelland
Chief Financial Officer
Joe has over 10 years of experience working with high-growth manufacturing & retail businesses across a wide range of industries and sizes. He received his degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and his MBA from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining Blueprint he served as CFO for a start-up CPG business, and previously worked at a west-coast based retailer (VP FP&A, IR at Grocery Outlet, NASDAQ: GO) where he was influential in the 2019 IPO process.
Joe’s experience working with similarly positioned businesses, the entrepreneurial spirit of the existing team, and the opportunity for growth ahead is what brought him to Blueprint in 2023. In his current role, he is responsible for partnering with ownership and management to develop the financial foundation to support profitable growth. In addition to his role in finance, Joe serves as the ESG Officer for Blueprint.

Martin Lettenmeier
Chief Innovations Officer
President Mass Timber DivisionMartin has over 20 years of experience in integrated offsite construction and held numerous positions while working for a German offsite manufacturer. Starting as an apprentice in 1996, he worked his way from Carpenter, Foreman, and Site Supervisor before he joined the University of Rosenheim in Germany. He graduated in 2004 from Rosenheim with dual degrees: a state certified technician in timber frame construction and a carpenter.
Martin’s experience, particularly with startup companies and his competence with Dietrich’s software ultimately brought him to Blueprint Robotics in 2016. In September 2019, Martin was promoted to the position of Vice President of Innovation and Technology for Blueprint Robotics. From 2021-2024 he served as Chief Operating Officer for the company handling all daily operations. In 2024, Martin was named Chief Innovation Officer and President of our Mass Timber Division.

Jason Bos
Chief Operations Officer
Jason is an industrialized construction and manufacturing technologist, inventor, and operations specialist. With over 27 years of experience, he is uniquely versed in both traditional and offsite construction and design methods. This blend of experience coupled with an in-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering, building information modeling, manufacturing, and assembly aids him in bridging the gaps between all business units and stake holders.
As Chief Operations Officer, Jason is responsible for all operations company-wide. He works closely with our plant management and field operations team to ensure production goals are met without sacrificing quality. Jason continues to increase efficiency and productivity in the factory by implementing innovative strategies and technologies to Blueprint’s building system.

Jennifer Roberts
Vice President of Project Management
Before starting her career in the construction industry, Jennifer earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University. With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Jennifer has successfully managed and executed large scale projects with teams of 20 or more. She continued her education, passing the CMAA Exams in 2022 to become a Certified Construction Manager (CCM). The certification enabled Jennifer to strategically approach our customers’ projects and better understand and meet their needs.
As Vice President of Preconstruction and Project Management, Jen is responsible for the budget and schedule of projects from start to finish. She leads our team of designers and project managers to properly coordinate and execute every project.

Jenna Cockerill
Vice President Corporate Controller
Jenna oversees the organization's daily accounting operations, including corporate accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and project accountant departments. In addition, she develops scalable processes not only within her team but across the greater organization. Jenna has been involved with the AEC Industry since the beginning of her accounting career, working for both a General Contractor and a Subcontractor, and spent 10 years in the Engineering industry. In addition to accounting, she has also led FP&A, Sales Operations, and Project Accounting teams, with a focus on data collection, analysis and reporting, system integrations, and process improvements. Jenna’s extensive Accounting, Finance and Sales experience provides a wider perspective of the needs and requirements of this organization. Enabling a broader approach to leading Blueprint’s Accounting team and cross functional collaboration.

Wyatt Ludwig
Director of Warehouse, Logistics & Transportation
Wyatt is in charge of the day to day operations of Blueprint’s warehouse as it relates to inventory, shipping & receiving, transportation of material. He has 25+ years in the warehouse industry and is trained in multiple WMS systems, 5s, team building, along with training in material handling and powered industrial equipment. Wyatt has overseen more than 60 warehouses simultaneously, driving and executing KPI’s while putting systems in place to monitor data, maximizing performance and accuracy. Team development, transportation, creating a positive work environment and culture are his priority.

Tim Griffiths
Senior Director of DfMA
Tim brings over 19 years of expertise in Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DfMA), specializing in process optimization, technology transfer, and innovation. Throughout his career, he has successfully led global teams in the design and engineering of both Mass Timber and Light Wood Framing projects.
With a keen focus on harnessing technological advancements, Tim is adept at achieving lean manufacturing and streamlining processes, particularly through the use of advanced CNC machinery. His international experience and European heritage fuel his passion for driving innovation in timber engineering and design. Tim has a strong interest in mass timber and energy-efficient buildings, with experience in both Passive House projects internationally and LEED projects in the USA.

Joshua Pinkert
Director of MEP
Josh brings 13 years of offsite construction MEP experience to Blueprint. He began his career as an MEP Designer and quickly progressed into an Engineering Manager role. It was only natural that Josh transitioned into a Director of Engineering role for the majority of his career. He held this position at several large offsite construction companies in the US. He has played a key role in designing MEP systems for over 75 offsite construction projects with those companies. Josh is an expert in MEP design and systems for offsite construction.
As Director of MEP for Blueprint, Josh leads our team of drafters and designers to fully coordinate our customers’ MEP systems. He is a trailblazer for Blueprint, developing creative innovations improving factory installation of MEP Systems and saving time and money for our customers.

Bill Grothmann
Director of Sales
Bill has decades of experience in the construction industry and has been with Blueprint Robotics since its inception. Prior to Blueprint Robotics, he had success in various industries, including home building, general & specialty trades contracting, and casework manufacturing. His experience in both construction and manufacturing drew him to Blueprint Robotics where he believes that there is a better, more efficient way to build.

Matthew Cody
Director of Procurement & Estimating
Matthew’s career began in the maintenance field with the United States Marine Corps. Leveraging the skills he learned in the Marine Corps, Matthew obtained a Field Service Engineer position in the robotics industry. In that role, he exceled in organizational leadership and R&D field project management. Matthew then completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management and began with Blueprint Robotics as Supply Chain Manager.. As the leader of the Supply Chain department Matthew is committed to organizing the Procurement, Inventory and Transportation sectors of the business while developing a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning software platform for the company.

Joseph Cicalo
Director of Field Operations
Joseph began his career in the industry as an apprentice carpenter while schooling with the Carpenters Union. After achieving his Journeyman, Joseph spent the next 10 years as a Union Carpenter working on a variety of projects. Joseph then began working on government construction projects as a framing site supervisor. Through his experience as a site supervisor, Joseph transitioned into a project management role. He worked with multiple firms on the East Coast in this role before joining Blueprint Robotics. Joseph was immediately attracted to Blueprint’s wood framing methods which led him to join the company in 2016 as a Construction Manager.
Now, as Director of Field Operations, Joseph oversees all aspects of onsite assembly for our customers’ projects. He works directly with the projects’ General Contractors to maintain the projects’ schedule. He manages employees and collaborates with the projects’ contractors to ensure quality and safety while performing work onsite.

Edwin D. Jacobs Sr.
Director of MEP Field Operations
Edwin was introduced to the construction industry by way of his father (John Clarke). He has over 30 years of experience including Construction Supervision and MEP Field Superintending of commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Edwin holds a plethora of licenses and certificates in the MEP trades including Journeyman Licenses for both Boston, MA and Washington, DC; IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 103, Construction Supervisor Certificate, JATC Certificate, OSHA 10 & 30, Rigging Certification, Aerial Lift, and Forklift Certifications among many others.
As Director of MEP, Edwin is responsible for coordination of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing trades for all Blueprint Robotics’ projects. He leads our talented MEP team in the field ensuring efficient and proper installation of a project’s entire MEP suite. He coordinates interface with customers and Blueprint’s MEP team to plan, manage, execute, and complete projects.
